l'air stupide

Is it ......Not

Is it sensual?..........no , it is not...
Is it scary ?.....it is not..
Is it about someone? .....not
Something?....not
emotion? feeling? accident?......no.
I am sure of one thing ......it is.....not

On war

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill

Monkey Law

I am going to start a serie of blogs called "Monkey Law"...why? Well, Man during his evolution kept relying on "Natural Laws"edicted by instinct...these "Laws"were useful to animals along their evolution and were thus transmitted to man , like for example the hunting instinct...nowadays, while many of these laws still apply and are useful to the survival of our species, some laws we inherited are totally useless, if not harmful to our civilizations...so I decided to call these "obsolete"laws "MONKEY LAWS"..because we look like monkeys when we apply them ,...litteraly....
So here is the first Monkey Law: well it all started when I was having this conversation with my brother about a friend who could not understand how I could be Atheist AND Good....Since he was religious, he could only understand goodness in religion...we see the same pattern of thought in the way the americans did the communist hunt, or racism took birth or Xenophobia spreads, and all the ills of our society ...and from there we went on reflecting on the nature of man in general and how Man perceives things just because of primitive instinct that no longer applies to our civilization...so came the first Monkey Law :

"If you are not ME, You are against ME"

;)
